BIAZA Field Program Committee

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]CIRCLE research into the worldwide role of zoos is being used to evaluate their success in contributing to field conservation. The two primary aims of this work are (1) to improve zoo funding for the conservation of wild animals and wild places, and (2) to encourage a holistic ap proach to zoo conservation.

Working through the British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) Field Programme Committee, we are using research findings to identify zoos that could benefit from committee support in their development of conservation activities, through workshops, mentoring schemes and the development of collaborative conservation projects.
